Marion is a Senior Research Software Engineer at the Institute of Computing for Climate Science (ICCS), University of Cambridge, since 2023. Previously, she worked in computational science and research software engineering both in academia and in industry. She has been active as an RSE and in the RSE community since 2019, and served as a trustee of the Society for Research Software Engineering from 2020 to 2022.

Marion was reappointed as a trustee in 2025 on a temporary basis to help out in the finance team after a couple of trustees had stood down.
