Christine is a Senior Research Software Engineer and Manager at the University of Birmingham. Before becoming an RSE, she developed statistical software for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries in Seattle. She has a PhD in Quantitative Ecology, and prior to her PhD, worked in industry on the Windows operating system. Christine became a trustee in 2026 and served on the RSECon26 Programme Team.
