Stephen is employed as a senior research software engineer within UCL’s Centre for Advanced Research Computing.

Stephen has a background in software engineering and research in image-guided surgery and healthcare more generally. He is primarily interested in developing software that benefits patients, either directly with patient-facing applications, or indirectly with applications that support clinical decision-making.

Prior to starting his PhD at UCL, Stephen worked in the automotive and petrochemical industries as a mechanical and manufacturing engineer.
