After a PhD in molecular biology and gene expression I moved into the NHS where I carried out the Scientist Training Programme in clinical bioinformatics (genomics). During my time in the NHS I received the Chief Scientific Officer Rising Star award in 2019. After 5 years as an RSE in UCL’s Advanced Research Computing group I am now back in the NHS working as a Technical Programme Manager in UCLH.
