Martin is Director of Research Engineering at The Alan Turing Institute. He spends most of his time there running the Turing’s Research Engineering Group but he also manages to spend some time working on good software engineering and reproducible research practices and helping researchers to work safely, securely and productively with sensitive data as co-lead of the Turing’s Data Safe Haven.

As a Society trustee, Martin helps manage the Society’s website and other online infrastructure as well as working on the Conference & Events and Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility working groups.
