After some physics research during and after my PhD I moved into the private sector as a software engineer and architect. After nearly 20 years, I decided to go back to academia as a RSE at UCL. Life took another turn when I started the Code for Thought community podcast in Jan/2021. For this, I was awarded a Software Sustainability Institute fellowship in 2022. And in 2023, I decided to dedicate all my time to the podcasting and communication effort.
