After a PhD in molecular biology and gene expression I moved into the NHS where I carried out the Scientist Training Programme in clinical bioinformatics (genomics). During my time in the NHS I received the Chief Scientific Officer Rising Star award in 2019. I’ve since moved to UCL’s Advanced Research Computing group, where I’m a Senior RSE working mostly in the healthcare space.
