Mark Turner is a Research Software Engineer at Advanced Research Computing, Durham University. He works on several projects across the University, advancing simulation codes in multiple disciplines. Prior to an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London, he was awarded a BA in History from UCL where his research predominantly concerned systems theory, biological constructivism and cybernetics. He is delighted to have been given the opportunity to contribute to the RSE Society’s work in the role of trustee.
