Society of RSE Community Survey 2025

As part of our ongoing review of Society activities, we are pleased to announce that our 2025 Community Survey is now live. We’re inviting everyone in this fantastic community to share their thoughts on how they engage with the community and membership benefits currently offered by the Society.

You can complete the survey by clicking the button below, or read on to find out more about why we are doing this.

In September 2024, Patricia Ternes became the 700th member of the Society. As we continue to grow, we want to make sure that we continue to represent the interests of our members. We would like to understand how people are currently engaging with the community and what they value about that engagement. We also want to understand why individuals who are actively engaged in the community are not Society members, and what we can do to make Society membership more valuable to the community.

All of this is critical to ensure that we can continue to support the Society’s goals and activities. Membership fees help to fund the annual UK RSE Conference, our Events and Initiatives fund, travel bursaries and more. If we can continue to grow our membership, we can sustain and expand these important activities. But we also want to ensure that our members are getting value from their membership. We offer a range of existing benefits, but we want to know what else we could be doing to support the community.

To do that, we need your help! Complete the survey today by clicking the button below.

The survey will be open until midnight (BST) on Friday 26th September 2025.

We will publish a summary of the results once we have had time to analyse them and keep you updated on any changes we make to the Society’s activities as a result of your feedback.
