There are lots of ways to get involved with the activities that the Society is doing.
Join as a member
The best way you can get involved with Society work is by joining us as a member or joining any of our virtual communities.
We have a growing number of Working Groups which support work that the Society is doing. At the moment we have:
- Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA)
- RSE Role Diversity
- Communications and Publicity
Special Interest Groups
Currently, our only active SIG is the Regional RSE Groups SIG.
If you like to organise a new SIG, please have a read of the SIG documentation and get in contact with us.
We have run a conference in late Summer most years since 2016 and we always need people to help organise as well as help our in-person as volunteers. Join our mailing list or Slack space to be informed when the call goes out.
Events & Initiatives funding
If you have an event you’d like to run, or an initiative you’d like to get off the ground, we have some funding available to help you. See all the details at the Events & Initiatives funding page.
Annual General Meeting
We hold an AGM every year which is opportunity to get updated on what the Society has been doing, as well as giving our members a chance to call for votes on certain issues. Keep an eye out on your emails nearer the AGM if there’s anything you’d like to raise and feel free to contact us in advance to talk about any questions you might have.
We also hold elections for the Society’s trustees so if you’d be interested in putting yourself forward, be sure to sign up as a member and get in contact with us at [email protected]
If you have any questions, please get in contact with us.
